Jeffries Ranch is an equestrian community in Oceanside, California that has many original residents. This neighborhood is known for large lots, and tree-lined streets.
Jeffries Ranch is comprised of 273 homes including condos, and ranch properties. Most of the subdivision was built between 1978 and 1992 although there are some newer homes off Ranch View Road. You’ll find one and two story homes that range from 1,300 to 3,500 square feet. Most lots are zoned for horses.
Oceanside is served by several school districts. Students in this community may attend Mission Meadows Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School, and Vista High School. There are also several private facilities like Saint Mary Star of the Sea School, Old Mission Montessori School, and La Petite Academy. MiraCosta College and San Luis Rey College are nearby.
There are several parks in the vicinity and close by you’ll find the Guajome Regional Park which has a 33-site campground with a basketball court, picnicking areas, trails, and playgrounds. There are two ponds here that hold a variety of fish and attract migratory birds. Many people come here to hold wedding ceremonies in the gazebo that overlooks the lake.
This community is close to Highway 76 making it easy for commuters, beach lovers, and shoppers. The Mission Marketplace Shopping Center is within minutes and offers grocery, financial, and health services.
The beach city of Oceanside is San Diego County’s third largest. It forms a tri-city area with Vista and Carlsbad and is located south of the United States Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton. Attractions include the Oceanside Pier, Mount Ecclesia, The California Surf Museum, and Race Across America, a 3,000 mile bicycle race. Every May, the city holds The Beach Soccer Championships which is the largest event of its kind of the west coast. Top employers include the Tri-City Medical Center, City of Oceanside, and MiraCosta College.
